Ain’t me was written from the perspective of a person who has ptsd. Often we are labeled by our reactions to the triggers we face on a daily basis. I have watched/ experienced this not only personally but also through my friends and family who have served. This recording is very special to me because my very good friend Austin White played the harp on it. He passed away in 2024.

How was I - I wrote this right after my divorce, where I felt like I had wasted over 1/2 my life trying to convince my ex-husband to help me save our marriage. Pouring this one out gave me a sense of relief.
